Dortmund, a great city

Dortmund is situated in the Ruhr area, in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. In 2010, the Ruhr region will become European Capital of Culture so you will have all the reasons to enjoy a holiday in these places. Besides the museums and art galleries, the city has several parks, a zoo, historic buildings, monuments and medieval churches.

Tourists who want to shop in the largest area with fashionable shops should go at least once to Hansa-Straße. For merchandise stores and modern sports, your best bet is definitely the Bruck-Straße. Those who share a passion for cars have the opportunity to visit the car museum in Oldie Museum. There are a lot of great Dortmund hotels, so you will have nothing to fear.

Nature lovers can wander through the City Gardens, Stadtgarten. Another green area, loved by tourists, is the park named Westfalenpark. Besides multicolored flowers that you will be admiring during the hot season, visitors can spend their time on the minigolf and soccer fields here or dine in one of the restaurants. Westfalenpark area is functional for more than 100 years and today is known mainly for the flowers exhibitions that are organized here.

Cleveland Rules the Playoffs

Cleveland Cavaliers clearly defeated Atlanta Hawks wih 20 points to spare, 105-85, and they are now 2-0 ahead in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

LeBron James set the pace for the game right from the get go, managing to score 18 out of his total of 27 points in the first half of the game, giving Cavaliers an 24 points advantage before the final quarter. During the final quarter, the best player of the regular season stayed on the bench to rest.

Mo Williams also managed to score 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 decisive passes for the Cavaliers. In the other team, Maurice Evans was the best from the Atlanta Hawks, a team which only managed to convert 35% of their throws and had a lot of trouble replacing Al Horford and Marvin Williams, both of whom were injured. Moreover, in the 3rd quarter, Joe Johnson also left the game injured.

Cleveland has won all their 6 games from the playoffs by a margin of at least 11 points, and was scored against an average of just 78,1 points per match.
